Lake Hauroko, Fiordland National Park :) Deepest lake in New Zealand.

Of all the times I have been to this lake, this was the first time I'd seen it so calm, no wind and eerily quiet :o Usually its a rough and wild kind of place because of the weather. I got talking to a Frenchman who had set up camp there for the night, before setting off to do the Dusky Track :) The track links Lake Hauroko with Lake Manapouri with an optional detour to Supper Cove & Dusky Sound.
